The flautist's new role
Andrea Ceccomori's seminar
Always more, the attention to new frontiers of musical languages imposes upon us known choices on the role and the expressive possibilities of the flute. What must a flute student do in order to face new musics, with which preparations, which repertoires, which attitude to adopt and above all how should he find the right market to become part of the world's workforce?
The Seminar proposes to answer these questions posed by the flute student who, today, wants to dedicate himself to contemporary music.
Through a comparative methodology of inductive and intuitive studies, reflections, conversations, stimuli and researches, he tends, as much as possible, to supply the useful elements for one contestualization and one "holistic vision" of the flautist and his role.
